GJW Spectrograph

As part of the GlobalJetWatch project, we have a prototype fibre-fed spectrograph on the Wetton telescope. The spectrograph can be used for point-source spectroscopy a R~4000 (up to ~7000) covering the wavelength range 4300-8500A in a single shot. Limiting magnitude (S:N~5 in 10 minutes) is currently V~11; with the final goal to reach S:N~10 at V~13 in 20 minutes. We are very happy for other people to use the spectrograph for their own projects. Please contact FraserClarke if you are interested.
